Buying a website is an excellent option for many businesses. It’s how we’ve built our own business. However, affordability is one of the biggest problems small and medium-sized B2B companies face when they want to build a new website or develop their exsiting site.
Having their own website creator build or redesign their site is something that not many businesses can afford. When businesses see how much it costs to build or rebuild a website, they usually just put it off.
This is where our monthly website leasing deal comes in. It’s aimed at small to mid-sized businesses who don’t have the need or the budget for a full-time web developer.
How Much Will a Website Lease Deal Cost?
Of course, the answer is, it depends! We’ve tried to make it simple although it’s not always a simple answer as it depends on hosting, whether you sell products through it, and blogs writing.
So we’ve tried to come up with a simple guide to give you a good idea of the cost. Use the cost per-page as a multiplier.
Per-Page Cost (brochure type-website)
Per-month (ex-vat)- Deposit is equal to 3 month’s lease (min £300+vat charge)
- Includes WordPress database updates
- Theme updates
- Plugin updates
- SSL certificate included
- Basic hosting included including monthly back-ups
- Optional: Weekly backups + £10pm +vat p/m*
- Optional: Daily backups +£20+pm +vat p/m*
- Real time backups +£30pm +vat p/m*
- Website size up to 1GB space + £0
- Each additional GB = £30 +vat p/m

Example 1: If your basic brochure website is 10 pages, you pay a £300+vat deposit. Once the site is live, you pay £100 +vat per-month for a minimum of 2 years.
Example 2: You run an e-commerce site with 5 pages and sell 30 products. The 5 pages (ie Home, About, Contact etc) would be £50+vat p/m and the 30 products would be £60. So the monthly cost would be £110+vat per-month. If you wanted real-time backups (£40+vat per-month), would be in total £150+vat per-month.
